Beginning Your Low Carb Diet Right Away

Once you've resolved to lose some weight then it's time to take action. Because they say " All those that fail to plan, intend to fail! " Dropping weight isn't only about cutting calories. Its about changing your relationship with food. If you have gone up and down with different diets. Maybe the time you made a lifestyle change and not simply go on a diet for a while, lose the weight and then go back on the diet. Its time to choose a way of eating you can live with. What is a low carb diet ?
Here are some things that you should do this week at the start of your low carb journey towards a healthier you.

Make a plan
Eating low carb takes a lot of prep work. When you follow a low calorie diet, there are whole lot of premade foods you can eat if you forget to make something. There are incredibly few places that make a healthy low carb meal to go. Although some individuals choose to just buy a burger and remove the bread. You can't survive on burgers alone!

On Weekends, I do all my meal prep for the week. I make breakfast, en-cas, dinners and at least 1 low carb boule recipe for a nice snack thru the week.

If you are considering this sounds hard. Who wants to cook. Think about this. Cooking your food allows you to know without a fraction of a doubt what you are eating. It also enables you to choose fresh options rather than the over processed foods which have helped you gain weight!

Don't break your foods with low carbs just for something sweet!

You may want to begin of slow with just walking. Or if you are up to it, join a sport. Certainly not bowling where you spend just as much time sitting, eating and drinking beer. Nevertheless maybe joining your companies softball league. Or taking on tennis. There are sites like Meetup. com where you can find like minded people who share the same interest as you do. I personally belong to a tennis meetup and a walking meetup.

Consider when and how much you take in.
Eating low carb is well.... delicious! And sometimes people overload. Get in the habit of only eating until you are full. Don't eat later at night. Its far better to stop eating at A MINIMUM OF three hours before you go to bed. Obtain in the habit of having 8 hours of sleep a day. Studies have shown that getting enough rest can help you improve your weight loss.
